The background image will repeat vertically along the y-axis until the parent element is filled. The background image will repeat horizontally along the x-axis until the parent element is filled. Any space that is not filled will be filled with the background-color. This attribute controls the repeat method of the background image. ‘Cover’ ensures the image completely covers the element it’s in, even stretching an image beyond its dimensions, but nonetheless still keeping the image within the element. Any space not covered by the background image will be filled by the background-color.
